Customizing a design FAQ

How do I move my text left or right?

Simply add a space(s) before and/or after your text by using the space bar on your keyboard when entering information into a field for your names, wedding date or whatever you choose.

How do I delete a text field from my design?

If you do not want a certain text field in your design, simply leave it blank.

Your design will appear exactly how you type it in the fields. You can click the "Preview" button to view how your design will look after you type it.

How do I make my text smaller?

You can make your text smaller in any field by adding equal amounts of space before and after your text. Use the space bar on your keyboard to add spaces.

For example, if you would like the name "Kim" to be smaller in size, simply add a space before and after "Kim."

Please note that we have a maximum character limit and minimum text size. If you exceed any of these limits, you will receive an error message.

How do I make my text larger?

Because your text conforms to fit within the available text area, you cannot make your text larger with our design tool. If you want your text to be larger, please enter your request in the "Additional Instructions" box and one of our talented graphic designers will alter the design accordingly and send you a proof to approve.

What can I do if my text is overlapping the design or another text field?

Try changing your text to all capital letters, or add spaces before and/or after your text to move it right or left. If you still cannot get the design you love, please describe your desired design changes in the "Additional Instructions" box and one of our graphic designers will adjust the design and send you a proof to approve.

What can I do if I want our names or other text switched in two of your text fields?

If you would like to switch the information requested in the text fields for your custom wedding products, simply type the names or preferred text where you want it to appear.

How can I change a text field or add an additional text field?

You cannot change and/or add an additional text field to our design templates at this time. However, you can type in different text than what is requested in certain fields.

What can I do if my names do not fit in the design or they look too small?

If possible, try a shorter version of your name or use a nickname. For example, "Kimberly" could be shortened to "Kim" if you are comfortable with that. If you do not want to shorten your names or cannot get the design to work to your satisfaction, please describe your desired changes in the "Additional Instructions" box and one of our graphic designers will adjust the design for you and send you a proof to approve.

How do I design my wedding banners?

We prefer to receive AI files if you have a design prepared. Other accepted files are EPS, PDF, JPG and PNG. If you do not have a design ready to go, simply describe your idea and upload any photos in Step 4 of the order process. One of our expert graphic designers will prepare a design proof completely free of charge.

How will this material look and feel?

Each banner material has its advantages! Our 10 oz. banner is great for indoor use. It has a smooth, matte finish, which photographs well and is our lowest price material. Our 13 oz. banner material is a versatile option that is great for indoor or outdoor use. It is sturdy with a shiny finish. Fabric banners are the most elegant and impressive. Cloth banners look great in almost any atmosphere.

How should I hang my banner?

Metal grommets come standard with each of our banners for hanging with rope, ribbon or hooks. You also can order banners with 2-inch and 3-inch pole pocket options at the top and bottom for hanging by dowel rod or pole. If you prefer, you can order your banner without hems and grommets to hang with double-sided tape or adhesives.

Can you print a design that I found on another site?

Due to copyright issues, we cannot copy an exact design from another website. You can submit a similar image, or describe what you are looking for, and we will use it as inspiration to create a design just for you. Our graphic artists will prepare a custom design at no additional charge and you are under no obligation to order until you have a design you love!

Can I see a preview of my banner before I order?

You will receive a virtual proof of your design by email after the order is submitted. You are under no obligation to complete the order until you have approved the design proof.
