  • Minimum font size for reversed out text (light text on dark background) is 18 pts.
  • Minimum line thickness is 1 pt. (Can be checked in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign or other programs)

TIPS

  • Small details do not always print well on polypropylene (non-woven) bags due to the texture of the material. For more detailed imprints, we recommend you choose a bag made of polyester material or eliminate the fine details.

PRINTING PROCESS

  • Bags are imprinted via screen printing, foil stamping, flexographic printing or heat transfer decal.
    • Screen printing burns the selected image into a screen that is then positioned on top of each bag as the ink is pushed through. The ink is then transferred onto the bags in the shape of the image.
    • The heat transfer decal process uses a heat press to apply a decal in full-color graphics onto each bag.
    • Foil stamping is the application of metallic or pigmented foil onto material by using a heated die.
    • Flexographic (“flexo”) printing is a process that utilizes a flexible plate on a rotating drum to apply ink to the product.
